March 2014, a summary

Untitled
March started with having oysters and going to Potsdam with Johan.

Untitled
We took a Monday off and had delicious pizza and salad at Clärchen's Ballhaus.

Untitled
Benno and I.

Untitled
Took a walk on a sunny Sunday and Johan baked bread.

Untitled
Camilla & Anne invited us over for dinner and the day after I was admiring the blossoming cherry trees.

Untitled
On Anne's last day in Berlin we had drinks and went to Streetfood Thursday for some dumplings.

Untitled
Me at a friend's place. Went bowling with friends for the first time in 9 years. Managed 4 strikes, wow!

Untitled
My sister came for a surprise visit for Johan's birthday (performing Zum Geburtstag viel Glück on stage as a birthday present, Johan cried happy tears). We also had a date with Benno.

Untitled
Coffee in the morning and a picnic in Görlitzer Park with Johan and Camilla last Saturday.

Untitled
Yesterday Johan and I had sushi for lunch and took long long walks.

It's been a lovely month, filled with meeting friends and forgetting about everyday life from time to time. Now let's see what April brings :)

Monster Paw

Untitled
I bought some eucalyptus during the weekend and found this thing which I call monster paw.

Untitled
My sister was here as a surprise for Johan's birthday and she gave him lilies. On my balcony I found a twig which had fallen from a sycamore tree.

How have you been? I have been super busy and didn't take many pictures with my "blog camera" this month. Will do a summary from march with pictures taken with my phone's camera soon :) See you!

February 2014, a summary

Untitled
February started so well. Spinach-gorgonzola-quiche and coffee for breakfast and Camilla moved here!

Untitled
Johan, Camilla and I had brunch together on a weekday and another morning I had a sandwich while responding to emails.

Untitled
Spent a lot of time at home for a few days and met up with Johan and Camilla for Streetfood Thursday every week.

Untitled
Had dinner at Camilla's and the day after Johan got sick.

Untitled
And passed it on to me, so I was sick as well for a few days. This is what we ate.

Untitled
When I'm sick I can't drink coffee, so instead I went for hot chocolate. When I was better again I went out for drinks and food with J & C.

Untitled
On a lovely Saturday the three of us went to a fleamarket and then shared that lunch together. So good.

Untitled
And the day after Johan and I met some friends for coffee and beer.

Untitled
Sushi date with Johan and I was working like a maniac on the grannysquare blanket I posted about yesterday.

Untitled
Late night cocktails with J & C and then Spring arrived for sure.

(These pictures are a selection of what I have posted on instagram. I use an iPhone 5s and edit the pictures in an app called vsco cam (contrast and brightness).)

January 2014, a summary

Untitled
In January I started working again after a needed Christmas break and spent a great day together with Trixi and Maria.

Untitled
I got a haircut and planned to organize the shelves in my studio (hasn't happened).

Untitled
Made good lunches "whatever I find in the fridge"-style.

Untitled
Had coffee in the mornings with Johan and took long walks before heading to the studio to crochetcrochetcrochet.

Untitled
Walky walk and a good hangover lunch (spaghetti with butter and parmesan) after a great night out with friends.

Untitled
Moved around furniture in the livingroom and bought spices for cabbage curry.

Untitled
Sushi for lunch in the studio and then came winter.

Untitled
Walked and worked. As usual.

Untitled
Took myself out for breakfast at Aunt Benny and read a book on the sofa being taken care of by the baby of the flat (the coal oven, our very unmodern and not very environmental friendly heating system - but I love it anyway).

January was a very good month, I was enjoying my routines a lot (work, walks, coffee and food) :)
