I used to be a collector when I was younger, but when I got older and let go of my control freak personality I didn't care about collecting things anymore. It worries me (not really, I'm trying to be funny) that there are more and more figurines entering my building ;)
Honestly, most of them are given to me as a present, phew.
This one Johan gave me.
This bunny is a lamp and was bought in Paris a couple of years ago.
A special Wrist Worms offer in the shop until the END of January (this Saturday!): 20% discount with code HAPPY2015.
All info in the shop: sandrajuto.bigcartel.com - Welcome!
And PS. I'm not saying everyone who is a collector is a control freak ;)
When I was in Sweden I finally got my hands on The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt (translated to Swedish) and have spent a couple of weeks reading a lot. It's an amazing book and I can't believe I have soon finished it. It was a calm weekend as you can see. Except for Sunday evening drinking shots with a tall blue bunny.
This blog is pretty silent these days, I don't spent much time at the computer - I think less than ever. It might have to do with me having a quite big social life compared to a few years ago ;)
Father Carpenter is finally open and it's a beautiful place to sit and enjoy coffee at. Looking forward to seeing their full menu which is coming soon.
Best of luck (and most of all FUN) Kreston, Pavel and the rest of the team!
This morning I went out for a walk and managed to convince my friend Maja to join me (it was easy!). Saw this new piece by Low Bros.
The world is so beautiful in puddles.
Did some window shopping.
Knorrpromenade is a beautiful small street and I love the name of it!
Boxi. Farmers market every Saturday, looking forward to tomorrow already. So happy to have this amazing market in my neighbourhood.
More window shopping. I need that fish!
Maja and I love to visit the cemetery.
Today has been one of my loveliest days in a long time, I have truly missed bringing my camera out for a walk.
I don't know who painted this, please tell me in the comment field if you know. Love the colours!
Makes me happy.
And sad, at the same time.
A short visit in Victoriastadt.
Seems like I'm into fish today.
Dumped Maja at Silo with her man and our friend Marios. I'm ready for a relaxed weekend now!
Ps. A small batch of prints are available again in the shop.
I spent xmas in Luleå, north Sweden, with my family. It couldn't have been a more beautiful time. -27°C and snow snow snow.
We had saffron semla.
Norrbotten, the region where I was born and grew up. Breakfast at my sister's place, with cured Arctic char. Oh my!
Woke up to this winter wonderland on Christmas Eve. In the night I went outside to see if I could see some northern lights. Oh yes!!! Crappy iphone pictures, my camera battery has almost given up on life, but hopefully I'll get a new one soon :)
Kebab pizza, the most popular pizza in Sweden.
I spent a lot of BAD time living in Luleå ;) Johan, my sister & my mother posing in front of the place where I used to go swimming.
For those of you who love the movie Let the right one in I can tell you, that this is the swimming pool from that film. Most parts of the film are made in Luleå, in my old school for example. I had nightmares of growing up after watching it.
Had a day of fun with my dad and his lovely lady.
Winter hair and my nieces on their way to the mountains to go skiing.
Klara! My favourite lady :) Johan's breakfast on a late Sunday afternoon, reindeer tartar (I had a toast skagen).
Bye bye winter wonderland!
Thank you all for making the week so special; family and friends! I came home to Berlin feeling pretty empty, everyone I love (except for Johan, phew!) live so far away. I'm happy to have so much love in my life. Hope to go back visit soon :)
