Most likely one of us will die before the other, so sometimes we sit on a bench at the cemetery together just because we can do it together, still. This morning I went there alone, though. It's such a contrast to the rest of the neighbourhood, which is full of life and noise and everything at once.
So, I started my day thinking about death. I find it so bizarre, that I have never seen a dead human being, when death is such a big part of life. Anyway, Johan often tells me Sandra, live until you die! I will!
Saturday mornings are for farmers market. Sometimes to share a plate of pelmeni with Johan, always to do some dog watching.
I hope to find some new inspiration soon, I'm not bringing my camera with me a lot these days, I don't spend many minutes a day online. The past few years I have developed a big social "offline life" and never have I had as many friends as I have now. For many years I made an active choice not to be around people that often, somehow I ended up being very social online instead :) Searching to find a balance and give this space a little more time, because I really love blogging (started in 1998!). Maybe I should come up with a new topic to blog about. Any wishes/ideas?
Hi! Long time, no see!
Fall is as usual very beautiful in Berlin, I am again more in love with the city than I've been lately.
I am very grateful that I was able to choose where to live when I decided to change country. My thoughts go to everyone who isn't in that position. I hope we all do what we can to help.
Sandra, come to Alexanderplatz and let's try that €2.50 sushi you can buy at the U2 platform! So I did. This is our house, by the way.
I decided to walk home.
Karl-Marx-Allee during Fall...
And a bonus picture of the fancy sushi, must be one of my best food pictures ever ;)
