Lately I have been having huge cravings for mountains and the sea. Hope to see them both soon.
Last day of June, this month went by super quick.
Today is my niece's 11th birthday. 11 years went by super quick as well. I remember as a child my mum often said Time goes faster and faster the older you get. She was so right ;)
Kiez99 has taken over my life the past month, therefore the lack of blogposts ;)
It's been the place where I've been hanging out most of the time lately, to work and play.
And eat! This mauritian curry from Spice Bros - very tasty!
And this indonesian claypot pancake from Surabi, with spicy duck. Yum!
Schnitzel and Spinatknödel from Mutzenbacher.
Well, good night Kiez99.
Hanging out with friends at other bars, restaurants and cafés too of course.
For example with Camilla & Björn, having coffee. And vietnamese lunch with Johan.
This week I'm gonna try to stay home as much as possible and work on my own neglected projects + now and then head over to Kiez99 for more fun work, yay! Love you frens ;)
Calmness on a Friday evening.
Johan and I have been working a lot lately. It's heaps of fun and when it includes stepping away from the desk from time to time to meet dogs, have good food, take pictures and meet friends & new people - it's even better.
Johan and I have been very busy making the logo, graphic design, illustration & photography for Kiez99. I also curate their instagram, welcome over and follow kiez99berlin if you want!
Spent the saturday evening at the market taking pictures, eating, hanging out with friends and drinking.
Frozen honey whiskey sour, oh my. Slurp.
Such good Cantonese food from Feed Back.
Such good vibes.
Yes, another one, please.
We stayed until they turned off the lights.
Last summer I got fed up with the basil I bought at the supermarket, it always died before I had eaten half of it. So I decided to simply just cut it and put in water - and discovered the basil lasts so much longer AND starts to grow roots. Did the same thing a few days ago and there are already roots. In a few days I will plant the basil in pots and hopefully soon have a kitchen filled with basil plants. Fingers crossed :)
Took a break from work to take a walk last night.
Johan is very fluffy these days.
Took a shot of this building. Open windows, open balcony doors, it's summer for sure. At this moment friends texted We're at the bar! so all of a sudden we chatted hours away before crashing in bed before midnight.
Up early to take a walk again and take pictures for a job.
This shop made me feel like I'm in France.
Such beautiful light.
And at Kiez99 we had brunch burgers with blue cheese dressing, oh my!
I see the beauty in things again.
I see the beauty in people again.
I start seeing good things in myself again.
Life is going to be fine.
