There is a new feature in my shop!

Available in S/M & M/L size (all info in the shop). €22 for a pair - I ship worldwide, welcome!
(Last picture shows the latest addition of slippers, also available in the shop).
Most important for me to survive winter and the darkness is to take a walk when it's light outside. Pictures above are from a day when I almost forgot and rushed out right before the sun had set. Another thing I do is make soups with lots of vegetables, cayenne and cream. Going to make one later today and feed someone who's sick :)
It's a good Monday.
Came in to a sun-drenched studio this morning. Made coffee and started experimenting with different crochet stitches and made a pair of BW slippers. They are available in the shop together with several other new pairs of slippers.
Friday has just started and I already feel the weekend in my body.
Any plans for the weekend?
I'm gonna make soup, visit the farmers market, take care of our home, make a ricepudding brunch on Sunday, hopefully read some. Closing myself in a lot these days; my body and mind need to recharge after being extremly social the past couple of years (though my blog seems to show a pretty lonely life I think).
A picture of our kitchen, bathroom and storageroom windows.
A picture of the ceiling in our entrance, every day this ceiling makes me happy.
This wooden thing with amazing looking roosters. So silly and cute.
These knives, I let them speak for themselves :)
I spend very little time on preparing my lunches. Sometimes no time at all, because I have leftovers from the night before. Night time, on the other hand, I put much more effort into my cooking.
Above are two super simple lunches.
Number 1: Lamb's lettuce with red onion, cucumber, feta cheese, lemon juice, olive oil, salt & black pepper.
Number 2: Scrambled eggs with blue cheese, kalamata olives & parsley.
5 years ago there weren't many places for really good coffee in Friedrichshain. Well, there was one - Tres Cabezas (still going strong). The past couple of years several new places have opened and my favourites are Happy Baristas (latest addition to the neighbourhood), Silo Coffee, Coffee Profilers, Shakespeare & Sons, Passenger Espresso (Saturdays at Boxi) & still Tres Cabezas.
At the end of last year LALA Berlin x Lana Grossa contacted me and asked me if I wanted to choose an item from their new collaboration to knit.
I said yes and had a big parcel delivered to me.
A bunch of fluffy balls of yarn landed in my home.
I chose the burley coat in black and creme, simply because I really need a new cardigan...
...and because I love the detail of putting my hand in a mouth ;)
Looking forward to starting knitting, haven't made anything for myself in ages.
Thank you LALA Berlin for the fun!
